The purpose of the Knox County Land Group is to organize landowners across the County to help negotiate lease terms for the minerals on your land. The more land and density of the acreage we join together, the better advantage we have to market our group's mineral rights to oil and gas producers.

As group organizers, it is our goal to bring to our members a mineral lease with favorable terms and for the best possible price. This website is an invitation for you to put your land on the maps that go to the oil and gas producers active in the Ohio Utica Shale play.

There is no guarantee that your land can be leased (your acreage may already be leased or your mineral rights may have been reserved at some time in the past) or that producers will be coming to Knox County with bids like they have in Eastern Ohio. Still, putting our land together and negotiating terms together will benefit all the landonwers in our group. And there is no commitment to our group. You can give us your information and never sign a lease.
